Aren't both year models indentical?

Yes, specs indicate cars will be the same except for the wheels. Single piece wheels next year.

I can't justify ANY of the money I spend on this sport. But, I spend it anyway. I like that new car smell!

i think the new car with the air freight from Germany is like 220, 230 net net when you get done. totally raw, non-developed. Your car has a year of development with one of the best in the business. Jon Wright is a king of cup cars.

Sounds like an amazing deal for someone looking to get a 2011/2012 Cup car for 40,50grand less than new, especially since most buyers wont meet PMNA's requirements to even be considered for a new cup car.

I get it! Will get the new wheels if they are 10gms lighter! But the hassle of doing everything over again (paint, radios, camera, motec upgrade, shocks, etc) makes me hold back until the new model in 2013, specially since my current car has no gremlins other than the blipper throttle map glitch.
