FS- 944 spec car project
so i jumped on an 87 n/a this year and started building a spec car. We also decided to start looking for a new house. Time is here to list our house for sale and we think we may have located a new house, but meanwhile this spec car is sitting here incomplete and i probably wont be able to race it next year anyway. I think that selling this and getting back into the game in a year may be my best bet. I can sell the car as a whole w/ a large pile o' parts or i can part it out which i would rather not but it is what it is. Here is what i have.....

Hanksville hot rods cage welded in w/ nascar ds bar- painted grey
interior stripped, painted white to match car- doors gutted and painted
Custom fiberglass dash that has factory gauges and trim installed
Fire suppression system w/ three heads - hooked up just needs completed
Evo race seats ps and ds - EVO on ds and EVO+2 on ps no sliders
DS harness is a six point brand new G-Force- ps is a Corbeau five point
removable steering wheel w/ MOMO wheel - steering lock disabled
wipers/lights and blower switch wired into dash already next to fire pull
emergency power disconnect on a-pillar ds wired in.
all a/c and heat removed but blowers are ducted to floor and windshield for defrost
rear suspension is in the car w/ 30mm rear torsions set to ride height - painted rear trailing arms w/ eurethane bushings in carrier
Front suspension has new bushings for a-arms not installed yet
koni front adjustable inserts/ new rear koni adjustable shocks
30mm front sway, 19mm adjustable rear sway w/ aftermarket links
front coil over set w/ 350lb springs/ also 450lb springs - with camber plates
Factory brakes w/ new Hawk pads in boxes still
NEW set of RA1 tires 225/50/15 x4 not installed
two full sets (4) of late offset phone dials w/ street tires currently on them
1988 2.5 engine currently being built-can be completed by pickup- good block, polished crank, full engine rebuild kit in boxes w/ new bearings and seals
late 88 pan w/ lindsey baffle welded in
a/c delete braket w/ belt
new ps pump w/ lines and good rack
new rollers, new water pump and belts in boxes
billet ps resevoir, powdercoated cambox, factory 88 cambox w/ cam, all parts for 88 motor including harness/ computer etc...
SPARE- 87 factory motor complete drop out w/ harness and computer-afm etc
factory trans-in car- w/ gallon of swepco fluid
almost new axels from my turbo
lap timer w/ beacon also in box used a couple times
new ioport ds window net installed
new safety solutions center net installed
Really this car just needs the motor/front suspension installed, buff the paint out and install a few things like the taillights and door handles which i have off so i could buff the car and paint stripes etc... There is one rust spot in the rocker panel that is easily patched up just havent done it yet- also have a quart of paint to repair this and whatever else was needed. Comes w/ lots of spares if sold complete. With the cost of the original car and all parts included i have about 10k in this car sitting here. Would be willing to take reasonable offers and perhaps talk about selling partially if someone buys just the tub no motor or something. Dan
