Didn't you just win a championship in that car? Why tear it down? Just curious.

These parts are legal in 944-spec. Oil pans may use a weld in trap door baffle and you may run any sway bar that is not cockpit adjust ajustable.

I run both an oil pan bafffle, and recommend it to all racers, and run weltmeister swaybars.

Yes, I won the championship in GTS1. I am looking to get back to my 911 in GTS4, but I love the Polezei car, so I am keeping it and de turning it down to spec to recoup some of my investment.

Actually, it is pretty sad. The car is torn down to almost nothing now only one week after the excitement of winning. Brant saw the pictures and shed a tear.

Joe, thanks for the input to my questions on the NASA page.

I have about 3 88 baffled pans. I have a spare JE flat top engine in the works. I had been consuming engines at an alarming rate until I did the extra hole with the larger feed hole mod to the crank that we talked about on the NASA forum.

So, as you say, these are spec compliant, but I have too many of them. Just like the welt sway bars. I currently have Tarrets on the car, so I will keep the Tarret's and sell the welts.

Thanks

Ed

Ed,

Thanks.. I just want to ensure you were 100% clear on rules. That and it helps those that might be looking for parts as well.
