When I pry off the padding to re-install the Hans post on a new helmet, what type of glue should I use to re-attach the padding to the helmet? Should I worry about damaging the padding when I pry it off?
What type of thread locker do I use on the threads of the Hans posts?

No need to pry any padding off...just slide the little wrench behind the pad. Also no need for lock-tite if you're drilling and attaching the old style posts.
