Default Need advice: Race shop in Atlanta area

I need some work on the 996GT3 including Safety Devices cage installation, coolant fittings, Moton maintenance, data/video, setup, etc...

Which shop would you guys recommend in the Atlanta area for full GT3 service? Autometrics? Goldcrest Motorsports? Any contact info or other shop suggestions?

TIA,

RJ

There is a site sponsor on Rennlist. Forget the name. I'm sure others will chime in.

Autometrics, great personal experience for many years on many levels.

Isn't Autometrics (an excellent shop) in Charleston, SC?

Another one to consider in Atlanta is J3.

Yes but they have several clients in Atlanta,do the DE,CLub Race Track Events at Rd Atlanta, and depending on the need and timing etc...can even pick up in Atlanta.

But again, I am biased through personal experience with them. They are that good and worth a little logistics even from DFW...So I use Topp for SuperCup IMSA ,PCA stuff and DFW local.
I have used Autometrics for everything from an RSR motor build to 24 hours of Daytona effort outside of my normal Topp support.

Oh, and that's in no way anything against Gordon and Autometrics. Gordon and his staff are of just the same caliber as Goldcrest.

Both shops mentioned are the best out there. You mentioned you want a Safety Device cage installed. I would advise you to speak to either of these shops about a custom cage it's a much better alternative

Thanks to all for the replies.

Thanks again, everyone.

We would be happy to help you get your Porsche where you want it, RJ. We campaigned a 996 GT3 Supercup in World Challenge GT in 2001 and 2002, so we are quite familiar with the cars.
