"Bug out" in evacuation conditions could be a relative term. Don't forget that you've got to deal with the NJ roads.

Now the governor of NJ has declared a state of emergency. Guess I am going to wait to hit the road.

Charlie on the road already?

You guys should bring sailboats. How about the little training dingy, single mast boats. Probably the best racing this weekend in NJ.

Leaving Saturday could be a nightmare if they are evacuating.

This just made me realize that the last time we had a warning of this magnitude rolling in I was on track at Bridgehampton!

OK I'm at the track. Here is the plan. Sunday is cancelled. For Fri we will do either one or two sprint races depending on how many racers show. If it is in the area of 80 or so we will change to two race groups which will yield 2 sprints on Fri, Two on Sat, and an early go home. If most drivers show up we will shorten up the sessions on Fri, combine the practice starts into one group and run a sprint race for each group at the end of the day. Sat would be the normal schedule with two sprints per group. Enduro entrants will get refunds.

This looks like great work by the region. You guys get the sprints, get to leave early on Saturday and the unheard of REFUND.

I hope you guys all have fun. Be safe on the roads.
