PCA Rolex Video thread
Great fun this weekend despite the flippin heat. Here's a vid from way in the back. This was the craziest start I've ever had. I ended up using pit out! Then I have a few very intense laps chasing 93-Firehawk before I burned up my tires, blew turn two and they just left me behind. Has to be my most intense laps of my short career so far.
Paul, Paolo and a few others make appearances too.
Kudos to everyone on track for making it thru the first two laps clean
Here are the first few laps.

Hey buddy,
Great racing with you this weekend. I have to agree, that was a pretty hair racing start. I thought for sure I was going to get squeezed in T2 or the Chicane. Glad I snuck through. Still not sure how I popped ahead of everyone into T4.
Boy was it HOT! Thunderbolt was greasy all weekend! The back of my car was dancing around which it never does. I hope I don't find something broken or unbolted.
With that said, the Spec Boxster loved T1 to T5. We were able to gap cars there nearly every lap only to loose it from T9 back to T1. We Spec Boxster's had our hands full out there outgunned with every possible PCA Club race car mostly on Hoosiers and us trying to manage our low hp car on the R888s.
This is definite must do again, a very fun weekend.

Streak, Cool video......It was a blast racing with you guys. I watched some of my own video and it's lap 3 when my brakes begin to fail, it becomes a issue a lap or so later going thru the Jersey Devil when I try to pass on the inside and have to pump my pedal and the inside rear locks up. That's when I knew it was going to be interesting, I never get lock up with such light braking. Turn 1 for the rest of the race was a 'Pucker" moment. Ends up being a blown right front brake line.
Hope to see you in August.

Looks like a blast
I thought that line through pit out would have been good for lap 2
If I get on the other side of the curbing after 2 I'm just along for the ride.

Excellent racing. I was able to watch you guys that Saturday morning and I do agree that you guys had a difficult task, with all those high HP cups and rs's and blah blah blah, but you guys looked good out there. Also spoke with the driver of the martini cayman (if anyone knows him) very nice guy and was explaining how slippery the track was out there. It sure looked that way from the stands coming around the S turns

I had overheating problems all weekend ( personally and the car ) but managed to have a handful of fun laps with Pete D and some other guys on Sunday before I had to back off. Can't wait to run NJMP without the Chicane next month.

Slick ain't the right word! The octopus was a skid pad and I have never four wheel drifted as much as when I came through the sharp left into the octopus (don't know turn numbers). My rear tires wore about twice as fast as the fronts with all the sliding around. Fun though!

Before the crash, I was willing to jump the curb to avoid Dan (always leave an out!) but he was aware and stayed wide, thanks!
