Default Hairdresser car no more

Progress photo of my 02 Boxster S becoming "Boxilla".

Titan Motorsports is gutting it in preparation of cage install. I don't have any definitive plans to race, but just wanted to have the cage for ultimate safety on the track.

If anyone needs any of the bits/pieces such as airbags, Brey Krause bar, ac compressor, ventilation components, rag top, etc, let me know along with a price offer as I have no idea what the stuff is worth. I have sold the steering wheel/airbag so far.

cross post to the boxter forum, I had very good luck selling my 996 parts via the RL 996 forum.

fyi I checked the dismantlers for part prices and discounted 50%, most items moved quickly.

Does anyone know what restrictions the 987/986's contend with in GrandAm Continental racing. I was watching the race from NJ on Saturday hoping for a good result from the Boxsters, but they really struggle. I have an 05 S for the street and think it is a great car. I have also been in the same car with a PS-9 set up, seats/harnesses and R-6 at Mosport and it was impressive. I also a student at WGI with an interseries cayman, which was really impressive. So what gives???

Christian and Brinkley, you guys are my Boxster mentors! Lou, you were one of my favorite instructors from back in the day!

Can't wait to have this little car back out on the track. I'll snap photos as things progress.

Default Cage done

Titan Motorsports did a nice job on this cage. Everything is going back in over the next 2 days in time for the Suncoast/Goldcoast PCA DE at Sebring this weekend. And how about that SY interior color? I love it!
