Indeed, Mike. I don't know if it was his accent or general demeanor, but I was always impressed by his speech at the morning drivers' meeting. Jeri's and my thoughts are with Katie and the rest of his family.

How awful. He was such a delightful guy. I've stolen a number of his lines from the drivers' meeting. He was funny, fast and a fine person. RIP.

Ted was one of the ifnest human beings I have ever known. He honored me with friendship, as did his family. I was blessed to have been a guest many times in their home. Jesus Mary and Joseph, this still hurts.

For those of you not on the instructor email list, there is going to be a celebration of Ted's life Sat 6th August , around 2 PM at the George H. Lewis & Sons Funeral Home, 1010 Bering Drive, Houston, TX 77057.

I had Ken Tubman change Ted's profile on the LSR DE Instructor page to read this:-

Lazarides, Ted
A dear departed friend
1953-2011

Sad news. I remember meeting him at the gas station off Echo Lane. He was in his red 996 GT3 and approached him to talk about his new car. Ted was welcoming and energetic. What a nice guy.
