has anyone run the Pirelli slicks that JohnBtires is selling? Also, I currently run Hoosier R6 235X35X19" and 295X30X19" but the Pirelli's are 235X645X19" and 295X680X19"...what is the size difference?

I bought a number of Hoosiers from John this winter, stocking up for this year. For me the plus is he is only about an hour away so I would just go up and pick them up.

I'm looking at R888, which are offered by johnb for (17" diameter) $145 FOB delivered at 75% remaining. (Note this footnote: "Tires were shaved to 3/32" then used")
If a used R888 offered by Johnb is first shaved to 3/32", that means they start out with only 50% of original tread, which makes comparison to a new tire that much worse!
R6 may be a good deal
