There ya go.

I sure hope you don't use just a bit too much steering & take out the car next to you. Could you "live with that" as well?

I'm sorry for the thread jack, guys, but this sort of predatory driving is just a dumbassed idea, to put it mildly.

The tail doesn't move any more than if a gust of wind pushed against the trailer.

OK I promise to practice a few times on open road with no one near me....

Actually I'm scared to death of losing a trailer as it happened to me once. I was going downhill on a tall bridge with 2 horses behind me in a undersized El Camino. We all survived, but only after bouncing from guardrail to guardrail. I think that was 35 years ago and I've been a huge proponent of properly sized tow vehicles ever since.

But hey, someone has to take Ryan Dunn's place....

That looked more like a snowmobile than a car trailer too. Super high deck, narrow track, etc.

+1 People here are ridiculously stoopid. They also think that you can shed speed at the same rate as a motorcyle...

LOL you have obviously never trailered through Houston....rush hour or not, it is 12 lanes of the lowest common denominator of humanity.

But I still would not (and did not) purposely weave my trailer.

It's nice having a low trailer like the Featherlite. That trailer really did have a high center of gravity.

The car looked like a BMW 6 series, front engine, you would think it had enough tongue weight?

tell me you are kidding. This is SOP.

Lane change completed.

(Please note, if you don't have a lot of experience towing, and know exactly how your trailer reacts, don't even think about attempting this)
This works for making room when driving a 34 foot motorhome too. Folks will not give a good driver a break but will get the F out of the way of a "crazy" drover. Just a little wiggle or two while staying in lane.

No need to be drastic with the wheel, just a gentle sway and traffic parts like the Red Sea for Moses.
Wake up call for the 1/2 focused one hand on the wheel one hand on the cell phone crowd.

A one ton is overkill for most of the trailers that we are using. If you are hauling a 40' goose neck then I agree. I pull an 18 footer behind my half ton with no problems. As for crazy drivers, a lot of the drivers in Houston are armed, don't speak English, have no insurance, are bat**** crazy, and / or don't give a damn. I have found it is best to plan 2 or 3 miles ahead of time what lane I need to be in and work my way towards it saves on the road rage. However, I can see doing it in Dallas because those folks are just plain rude.

Dead serious.

SOP? For whom? Congressmen lying about texting images of their genitals to various women also appears to be SOP, as does presidents perjuring themselves. So? Does this make it right?

We routinely bitch about overly aggressive drivers who try to intimidate on public roads. This is exactly that.

We were wondering if that was a BMW shop picking up a customers BMW with what we thought looked like an equipment trailer.
