A marketing and PR tool, much like the Porsche 911 Hybrid race car.
Nothing more than that.
Given the nature of the "56th"entry, it will not be competing for any class wins IMHO.

I agree with Lewis. It reminds me of Speed Racer and makes me wonder if Racer X is going to team up with Speed to drive the thing.
