Terrible to hear- as a young father I can only imagine how difficult this will be for his family. Didn't know him, but he is in my thoughts.

Wow. Horrible news. My deepest sympathies to the family. I just can't even begin to imagine what his family is going through.

So sad to hear as I had just met Carlos casually @ TH a few weeks ago as he was tinkering w/ the Stohr. The Rennlist family will always be there. RIP Carlos. He was obviously living life to the fullest as we all should be.

Wow this is shocking news. Eric & John, please pass along my sympathies to his family. I remember meeting Carlos at one of his first track days at Buttonwillow. Such a nice and enthusiastic guy. This just doesn't seem possible.

So sorry to hear of this. I ran into him on the grid of the NCRC race in April, he was in the Stohr. As I always go talk to the sports racers around (I wasn't driving), we introduced ourselves and realized who each other was from crossing paths on Rennlist. Someone can correct me, but I believe he told me that he got the sports racer bug after taking a ride in A Radical (may or may not have been mine) several years prior.

Way too young to go, but glad to see he got out there and enjoyed.

Very saddened with this news, I've "known" him for years here on RL, he was a real pioneer with that 996. RIP, miss you Buddy...

RIP, pal.

He used to call me frequently to "plot" about making changes to his racecar to make it better and I really enjoyed our conversations. To say the very least, he was one helluva nice guy.

In addition to his PRC/NASA racing, Carlos was a frequent participant in PCA trackdays going back at least 6 years. I remember riding with him at Thunderhill in his 996 before he turned it into a racecar.

My condolences to his family. Carlos was such a young guy. I didn't realize he had twins on the way... only makes this sad tragedy even worse. I'm glad to hear some of you guys made it to his memorial to show support.

I will always remember that he wore the biggest smile in the paddock. Rest in peace buddy.
