Hey Chris, I put the new flywheel, clutch, and tranny back on tonight. Also my dad pressed the new bronze bushings on the rear. I am waiting for the springs and drop links (Thursday) to show up and then I am back in business. Just a quick alignment to do. Whats tomorrow? You are to lucky to be back up there again. You will need another set of Hoosiers soon. By the way how did Bill like the ride?? He gave me my first ride at Watkins Glen, and now look what has happened to me.

Bill seemed to enjoy the flight around the track... The only corner he seemed to grab for the roll bar was T9. he is such a great guy... I always enjoy just sitting and talking with him. I'll be back down to drop off some items for a few drivers that have been waiting on helmets. As well as possibly working with a driver.

If you need any help give me a call and I will drive down to help. Will you be taking the tour to the Taylor collection Saturday?

Bill is a great guy for sure. He only grabbed the bar in T9? I grabbed it in every corner. Thanks for the offer. My Dad is going to go see the Taylor Collection, but my wife has planned a getaway for me without the boys. Have fun tomorrow, and this weekend.

let your dad know we (Sasha / I will be there Saturday)... Sorry that we will miss you... But, a weekend away sans kids with your better half will be more enjoyable.
I thought you were asleep over there when we went out together...

Great event. This was my first time, so Friday was a big day, Saturday better and by Sunday, 140 MPH into the bus stop. What a rush
You all put on a great show. Tks
Will be back next year for more fun.
Tks to Chris (Crazy Canuck, red gt3), he's been bugging me for years to go......
now I know why.

What up, Geoff? It was much fun hanging with you guys. More importantly do you remember the words to Mrs. Cleaver?

OK, maybe 140mph "before" the bus stop.

LOL Geoff, so that was my problem (one of several...)..... cuz I was lifting, braking and sometimes even "clenching"...

Great weekend until the last run. Unfortunately, my son, Brendan, lost it in the bus stop after someone dropped coolant (I think) on the track. He was fine, but the car needs some work. Luckily, he hit the tire wall instead of Armco.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by asking if Brendan was alright. Shaken, but willing to get back in the car.

Now on to replacing the rear axle, rim, control arm, bumper, right hand mirror, etc. I hope it is all done before the Canada trip.

Again - great fun at the Glen. Really nice people and lots of great cars.

Cheers

Glad to hear he is OK and I am glad the car wasn't a lost cause. Good luck with the repairs.
