I loved it.

It would be a great lunch time event for the Rolex Reunion. Maybe using same era cars and drivers. Would it be fun to see 80's vintage F1 and stock cars runing around with 80's vintage drivers?

Have to download that one . It was interesting when JPMontoya and Gordon did it hand full of years back . I did the open fan day at NJMP when the AMA Superbikes tested there before their first official race . Great day , got to meet riders , mechanics , ya know the whole shooting match . Wish I could have been there .

The thing I liked is that Lewis brought his a game in personality. I think he really loved drive a NASCAR and won over a lot of fans as did Smoke did for the Euros. a win /win situation.

They both did well driving the other guy's car. Just goes to show what an elite race car driver can do.
Too bad the weather was less than ideal.

WTF Speed??? Set up my DVR to record it and the guide for Speed only had it on for a half hour. DVR cut off during Hamilton's warm up lap. That sucked!!

Yep, however according to both the Speed website, as well as the cable TV on-screen guide, Seat Swap is on from 11:00 to 11:30 and Bristol Speed Record is on from 11:30 to 12:00. Will record both. Nice going Speed TV!!

Anyone notice that on his last lap, prior to the burnout, he drifted at least the last four corners. You could tell he was having a blast and made sure everyone knew it.

Its really too bad about the weather. On a dry track with slicks I'm sure either one of them could have smashed the long course track record in the F1 car.

Here are a few photos from yesterday, both men were a joy to work around and seem to be having a great time. Both of them asked for more time and a set of slicks at the end of the day.

syncspeedinc,

Tell everyone what you told me about Hamilton's driving suit. That was fascinating!

Me too, so I reset my DVR and ran it a hour over so that I could see the end of the show (Stewart driving the McLaren)
