Well, despite the lovely track equipment, I don't think you (or I) could get $ 30k for a G or H 993 these days, even with a dry, tight engine. Figure a used dry engine is $7k, maybe 10K with the valves already done, and a day of labor to install, and some bucks for the effort. Sounds like high teens, but that's just my 2cents.

Umm, by any chance would you want to sell the brake ducts...? If I recall correctly, I have your wheels. They could use the "company".

Thanks Marc. that's kinda what I was figuring. I'll sell the brake ducts for $15K.

I paid $15k for a really really nice roller 993RSR clone that had a running engine but no trans and some fiberglass body work damage two years ago.

wow... just wow...

I would have thought double that, but have not been paying attention... guess things have gotten a lot worse in the last few years.

I would say it's worth $25K to a guy that has a really good 3.6 lined up. To buy an engine (cheap) and have it completely refreshed will be about $20K..

pics added for reference. Unbelievable but no tire rubbing with the 295's on the rear.

You finally get your transmission back and you've gone off and lost the engine? Where did it go?

Looking at a couple different options. One would require a 3.6 "donor" motor.

Unless I give the roller away, I think it will be harder to sell. Who knows.

Well, if you're serious about selling as-is, let's talk. Then it can be reunited with those bypass pipes I got from you awhile back. I have 3 spare engines, so that's the least of my worries.

(Grumble, grumble about Evan's car. THAT is the one I still kick myself for not picking up. Have not seen it out on track yet. And my old RSA that Evan and I were considering a part trade on, I was told it's for sale. Only a nearly $10K markup from what I sold it for, though............)

I know the guy who bought your RSA Ken and he is selling it because he bought a 996 GT3 to match his wife's ex Patric Dempsey 997.1 GT3RS . I got to see the RSA in person at a car show and I am not sure what he did to it besides a nice detail but it is NICE! Had real RS seat in it and a few other nice details. Only flaw I could see was the rust around the windshield. I think we both sold those car too cheap. I am kicking my self now for selling my 993 as I have proceeded to dump as much and more than I sold it for into my '75 turning it into a race car.
