Hi John:

Great to race with you at Mid-O last weekend, your car looked immaculate and is a bargin at this price.

Your motor looks pretty healthy to me based on the dyno numbers. Nice car.

Good to race with you. It was nice to knock off the cobwebs since I had not raced since 10/2009. Sacha Clark (another prodigal son) and I must have traded positions back and forth 6 or 8 times in the Saturday afternoon race. Finally, I could not hold him off, he passed me and slammed the door in carousel on the last lap. Finished .02 behind him. Anyways, good times..

I had a great start and first couple of laps in the Saturday race and didn't look back. Sunday was probably my best performance ever at Mid-Ohio, made it into the 1:38's , Sasha passed me on lap 2 in Thunder Valley and the rest of the race was a "dog flight" it took me until late in the race to repass him in traffic. We sandwiched 2 Spec E-30's between turn 1 and the keyhole then were side by side all the way down the back straight. I took the lead just prior to the turn in for 7 and managed to hold on until the checkered. It dosen't get any better than that!

Three solid race cars sold in the past few weeks on this site... John's, our USA cup and Fred's E car. You're next Tim.

Damn! Congratulations John. The new owner got a great looking car with a strong motor and a brand new Copans trans.

Too bad Fred's car got away... that would have been perfect. Of course I hope you end up in an E car to race with Chip, Gregg, Jim, Bruce, Chris, and me (and usually about a dozen other people at any given race).

SpecBox is tempting too, but so far the numbers are thin in our region. So is C3 if you wanna go all out. Either one you could rent and arrive and drive at Road America.
