The FIA has listed 21 races on the 2012 F1 calendar, with Austin getting June 17 and Turkey provisional.

It's looking better by the day. I believe Hill Country Region PCA is getting a sold out tour of the track tomorrow.

21 races and 7 back-to-back race weekends. It's going to be a busy season!

Wonder how that will affect Montreal attendance and prices. I keep getting calls and emails from the promoters this year about tickets (already bought 8 tickets with friends). Last year's race was sold out but I'm not so sure about this year. I still have no plans to go to Austin any time soon.

FWIW, a client and stakeholder in the track told me the Nov. 18th date change is a done deal. Book'm now Dano.

That generally means I would not believe any of it and ignore the rest.

But for this I might have to make an exception. But for $600 a night hotel rooms that are normally 250 I might have to take a chance and beat them to the increase and get them for 250 before they run them to $600 again.

The hotels probably have that date set on gouge too though.
