That has been the issue for the past few years. Seth only had 1 entry and since he wanted to drive he took a team that could win it and slowed them down. If you want to win LeMans you need every driver to be of the highest ability. Guys that are not paid drivers are a hinderance in this event. 2 cars is the ideal situation as that way Seth can still turn laps in the 81 car and allow the 80 car to go for the win with no compromises.
Flying Lizards made the podium at Le Mans in 2005 with two team principals - Neiman and Pechnik. Of course, they finished behind Long and Bergmeister who were driving for Peterson Motorsports at the time.
