How can you be sure if AST doesn't choose to employ him?

Sounds like Moton took far too long to come along with a more budget friendly and less complicated line of suspensions. They just came out with the single adjustable last year after the racing community took a HUGE hit due to the economy.

Sucks that Lex won't be in Atlanta anymore. I don't have Moton's but have spoken with Lex many times and he's always courteous and always get back to you.

Now I wonder how many people will be ditching their Moton's now that they have been taken over.

AST would be idiots not to keep Lex and his name is synonymous with Moton. If they want it to operate as a separate brand name, then their first order of business cannot be to let go of the man that everyone knows in the racing community. That would be a bad move and they would be better off discontinuing the line if they were going to do that. EVERYONE knows Lex.

Lex is the man when it comes to helping customers of Moton out but he doesn't work alone. Kent works beside him and does a lot of the same work Lex does. They are a great group that helps keep the customers happy. Best suspension products on the market at this time.

Also note that AST gives props to Rousch and Billy Johnson. Great for them. The other choice of shocks for the winning CTSCC car is Koni, which suck and are POS expecially for the money.

Very true ! Kent is great as well, Lex just always seems to get more credit but maybe that comes from the years of his service in the shock industry.

As I previously said, I am sure that Lex (and Kent) will be around offering the high quality of products, support, and service that he has been so well known for at Moton, regardless of what happens with the company itself.

I talked with Lex Carson last night and he said "AST does NOT own Moton".

Well either way I hope AST is reading these posts and really understands they need to give Lex whatever he wants to keep him on. Lex is awesome!

I believe that Lex will be where the quality products are at, whether that be at Moton, AST, or even a new company ! He knows that he can provide the ultimate in customer service but he also needs the ultimate in products to help make his job a little easier. In the past that ultimate product proved to be Moton, in the future I don't know the answer, but I will stick with Lex and the products he represents.
