I was at Cups and Saucers and this car was just ridiculously fast. It also looked and sounded great. Quite humiliating for us GT3 guys - I think he was running 2:04s at the end.

Default Cayman build

I've received a couple e-mails asking for more details about the Cayman build. The car is essentially stock except we are allowed the larger 996 front brake caliper, some suspension parts and adjustable toe links and coil-over shocks. We are using the spec double adjustable AST shock (Koni is also a choice). We added Porsche's rear wing (ridiculously expensive!). The car has an AIM dash and AIM Smarty Cam w/ GPS.

I did take a few pictures of the roll cage at Dan's shop. The cage was built by Bill Doyle near Boston, a real craftsman http://cagethis.com/. Sweet cage, and after seeing Rick Deman’s VIR race, you know how important a great cage is! Go to http://cagethis.com/current-projects/ and you'll see a bunch of photos of the cage being built for this car.

I’ll try to post more pictures as the car gets finalized for Limerock. Thanks for the support

Cool. Good luck. I remember getting passed several times by that car during the Chin event. I was in the white specE30.

I'll be at the shop Wednesday. I'll post some pictures of the car ready to go to Limerock.
