GMG finishes 2nd at Miller World Challenge & moves into, 1st place in Championship
Miller Utah.. Utah Grand Prix - World Challenge GT.
After a late spring blizzard qualifying for the World Challenge race was cancelled and the grid would be set by drivers points.
GMG's #14 James Sofronas would start from pole as he was the runner up in points in the drivers championship. James ran a great race and would ultimately finish in second place as the Porsche 911 GT3 is not ideally suited for the high altitude of the Miller race track.. The Viper of Daskalos would finally get by mid race due to traffic holding James up.
The second place finish would move James into the lead of the drivers championship going into the next round at Mosport.

It was one hell of a race. I really thought James might have had a chance to get him back in the final laps, but it just didn't play out in his favour...

Watched the Long Beach race last night. I love that format. The cars are interesting. That wide-body Mustang looks nasty. I do miss the epic Audi RS6 versus Caddy CTS-V battles.
