Default Running r comp tires backwards

got pirelli p zero corsa asymetricos on the 965 and the lefts r wearing more than the rights (only track at mid Ohio)

Can I safely run em backwards? Just flip the right rims over to the left and vice versa... Running the tread pattern backward

I assume it's no issue

Hmm.. they are called "asymetricos" which would imply a "no" answer.

First is the tread pattern issue. Second could be internal construction issues.

There are other "r" comps that can be run in either direction whose only issue might be reduced effectiveness in the wet, should a tread be showing.

It's only an issue if you're running on a wet track.

I find the RPM limitations a bit of a problem when running in reverse...

but the only reason a tire is asymetric is due to the tread pattern, shaved or dry you'll be fine...

+1.

And after 6-7 track days, the tread won't be too much of an issue no matter how you run the tires.

I would also suggest flipping them on the rims after about 1/2 their life.

I run my tires backwards, but I'm usually both feet in.

If you drive FLATOUT, it doesn't matter which way the treads (or your car for that matter), are pointing.
