Kinda one of those "duh" moments you have in your life. The good news is I think the pieces of this sport are finally starting to make sense for me. I know I still have much to learn and look forward to more track time to do so!
Yes, another way to think about it is this: prepositioning the aiittude of the car (i.e., which way it points) as you enter a corner or a complex of corners, in order to make the car work better and rotate more easily in the corner.

Thanks SO much, Mark. These events provide the perfect venue for helping people practice PERFECT. Having David and Craig helping guide folks is icing on the cake!

Semi-off topic but... only XL (which are more like XXXL) tees? Really?

Jeez.........I'm sorry AC.

The DMTD T-Shirt Instruction Manual specifically states: "Not for simultaneous use by small people in your (or Eric's) household". Thanks for the pop though!

Great pictures of the event.

Did you guys manage to make any more headway in the car?

Nah, Dinan has some answering to do and another DP engine to come up with,

I'm guessing either we'll drop out or use my car for the 1 lap. Too bad because when it was working that car was a hoot to drive

I was unable to make this event but it looked interesting. Can you share how it was structured. Was it mostly video review or did he also do corner observation with you with him or watching you? Just wondering how it was put together.

Ha Ha, me too! Would have been nice to be at MMC with you, but just didn't work out that day as I had to work that night.

True that! Thanks for the continued help Dave.

This was forcing me to give careful consideration of rotating the car since I could not really lay down the power til it was turned after the corner. In the end my tire issues actually helped me more than I would have ever realized. Funny how things happen for a reason at times.

Great event. Never had that much track time in my life. By the second day I only wanted to do 250 miles, I was so used up from 312 miles on the first day.

It was good to hang out with some friends I hadn't seen in a while. Day 1 was great! David and Craig were fantastic with advice and track talks.
Unfortunately day 2 started out with a broken front sway bar drop link, but Heidi and kids were happy as I got home earlier than expected.

I'm planning to be at DMTD in July at NJMP, I will have spare drop links with me!

Mark and David,

Quality event with quality people. I was glad to see your numbers triple and that you were able to obtain such a high level of participants. Easily becoming one of the most premier driver instruction events. I look forward to seeing where you guys take it from here
