Mines are out since 2009. Did not notice anything at all. No reverse dent either. Raced in the rain too. No difference to me, but the car is a tiny bit lighter All of my friends don't have them either. Nobody never complained about anything. The 944 fender is very strong.

Once had a hit with a mini cooper and his quater panel had to be replaced. The 944 fender had an 8 inch dent on it, and that was it. Still on the car today (not mine).

If the factory spay-on undercoating is still on the fender, it will not dent from rocks. If the undercoating has been removed, it can get dents - have seen it.

Mine have been mostly out for several years also. I have about a 1/4 section in the right wheel well protecting the ABS system from crap, but that's it. I've raced lots in the rain and haven't noticed any difference. Nor in the dry either.

As he noted, this was all that needed to be said. Looks SO supersede any performance issues for Blalock. All the other arguements for or against are just white noise now...

So Happy Kitty...are you actually going to drive it? or polish it?

Bob I'm going to drive it. I told Ray N. at the club race I'm shooting for "best prepared" honors in 2012. You and Nadine are coming down in June, right?
