Do I need to rebed new brake pads on previously bedded rotors?

With use / bedding new pads change composition / look / characteristics - bed every set in, only takes a few minutes, and even that pretty much replicates the first few laps of a DE.

Sand the rotors to take the old pad material off. But use only garnet sandpaper. Never ever do this with black, aluminum oxide sandpaper - it simply creates its own deposits.
Perhaps it maybe safer and less effort to get the rotors cut. Don't have to worry about breathing in the dust, and spending the time to make sure you get the rotors completely clean. I appreciate the response though, I usually do give the rotors a bit of sanding before when switch pads but never knew the composition of the sand paper itself mattered.
