Just how fast are Leh and Cory F? (PCA Video)

Fun race on Friday.... most of us treating this like the sprint race due to weather.
I run a 1:28 pace (never saw a 27 this weekend, did last year?) and to put it in perspective Leh was 5 seconds ahead by 6.
Sorry to see what looks like damage on Musantes car from Sunday. That car has nuclear power (look to the left at start)

Leh is in a 997 RSR, ex Rahal ALMS Car and Cory is in the Autometrics Grand-Am Spec 997 Cup.

Manthey & Porsche Motorsports make them. Some sort of mechanical device that gives ~30% throttle at the instant the forward pressure on the shift lever (initiatiing the downshift) is detected.

Cant remember if Autometrics installed the PMNA blipper or another kind. Works OK, you can see I still have a habit of using heel n toe - too much muscle memory I think!

Not many people saw it because he was so far out front on Friday, but I was up on Spectator Hill and watched Leh straight-line the right hander at the bottom of the Esses just before Turn 5. All four wheels in the air, dirt flying. He popped out the other side and never lifted. As David Hobbs would say, "He crashed, but he didn't hit anything."

Well, I saw the remnants of his off as there was a cloud of dirt going down the esses. They actually threw the yellow for a second because they assumed he was headed for disaster.
I guess he wasn't as I never saw him again! I think he exited after the next lap.
