I think the old unmuffled really meant unmuffled. Now "unmuffled" means 105 db, and they'll be checking ... I'm going to venture a guess that some cars with open exhaust will fail 105 db.

Look, I wasn't suggesting the LRP club race would be a problem. My car is LOUD, very LOUD and still meets the standard. It was interesting to me the clarification they gave for the DE days. Previously, we did not exactly understand what was passable and what was not. I've seen 997 GT3s have issues as well as stock 924s running in a pack of three. I apologize if this thread took on a "dont go to LRP" because it wasn't meant to be that way.

I'm going to try and cram a big-*** Magneflo (P/N 12568) to try and make it as the track is less than an hour from my house and I enjoy going there for DE's..

Oh, yea, definately, it is a great technical track. It took me years to appreciate it and I enjoy it each time I go back.

If that huge Mangneflo doesn't make you legal (and 20 lbs. heavier) nobody will pass 88 db........
I can only pass restrictions LRP with my stock Cayman S......

That's it. I pulled out. Got a scheduling conflict on Sat, and they're doing both races that day. I would've come if there was a race on Friday, but they don't do it that way.
