I'm only running a 5 point, but I was able to tie into a structural piece on the floorboard, and I still welded in a plate (I think 3/16, but it might have been 1/8?) with a nut welded onto the backside. For my lap belts, I welded in a 4X4 piece of steel on the trans tunnel (re-used factory provision on outside).
