Anyone catch the GTGP race that was televised in part, during a Formula 1 broadcast? I just caught wind that someone saw it and it might be rebroadcast this next week?
anyone know what channel it was on or will be on ?

It was on 'mobil 1 the grid' on speed, at the end of show. Recognized a few poc cars. I'm sure it will replay.

I was bummed they did not show the results... oh well I'll just keep waiting for my 1st place trophy in the unlimited RWD class.

With Rennsport Reunion at Laguna, will there be another opportunity to run without a dB limit?

I hope they have it but word on the track is that Rennsport took the open db spot for 2011. I hope that just a rumor.

I dont want this event to fizzle away.

Well, what did you guys think?

I think they put a little too much emphasis on the street tuner and time attack,though those groups (as always) had the most amount of cars so maybe thats why.
Heck they spent a good amount of time on the viper ACR that holds the track record there, winning his class in 1:37.5,

They didnt even mention the race or race group. Andy Pilgrim won the time trial, which they mention (Kpax sure got a lot of air time ) but in the main event race, he lost to Sofro in the WCGT cup car.

I wonder if they will have the event next year.
