Neat article on CJ in Sports Illustrated (funny that I call him CJ; I don't even know the guy, but in typical Rennlist fashion, I figure we're buddies now).
Seriously - a great article about what seems to be an admirable guy.
Go easy on the Red Sox, though, OK?

C.J. Wilson Racing appears to be playing the game off the field as well as on.

This is brilliant news! Hopefully the mental, physical, and monetary strain on CJ will cause him to slip up a bit more when he faces my Tampa Bay Rays. It seems like the few times they have met 'ol CJ has their number...

U know I'm just kidding about that CJ. I don't hope things go badly for you on the mound...but maybe the racing empire you're building will expand enough for you to give up throwing a small hard ball around and get a real job...think of guys like Sir Frank Williams, Roger Penske, Chip Ganassi, and you CJ!

Congrats.

CJ, I think that you need to take one of the Rennlist racers and put them on your team. I'm sure that the faster guys here could hold their own and they could write about their experiences and promote your accomplishments right here in our own forum. I know of this older guy who is pretty fast.

This is a brilliant idea, which already happened. And we won! Need more of it.

Story of my life, pal. Either my brilliant ideas have already happened (unbeknownst to me), or they are so far ahead of their time that they cannot yet be implemented.

CJ pitches this afternoon against Tampa Bay in the first game of the ALCS. It's on TBS starting at 5PM EST (that's 2 out West for those of you in Rio Linda)....

I don't want to say I told you so, but a few posts back I wondered aloud if sports car mega team owner manager would distract from throwing a small ball around. As of the 6th inning my Rays had his number...

Sorry about that CJ.
