Safety Devices Rollbar/cage addition

Chakka,
You need the diagonal in the main hoop that starts above the drivers head and goes to the opposite foot of the main hoop, tied to the crossbar, just like Freds...be like Fred...
The front bolt in is fine, just remember that the SD "bolt in" has weld plates with nuts that have to be welded in which in the long run was just as much welding as a weld in cage. but it will work. You will have to add the diagonal and the second door bar...

The cage I have is :
Porsche 964 Sunroof Coupe 4 Point Roll Bar
Safety Devices 4 point competition bolt-in Roll Bar offered by Stable Energies includes: Bolt on diagonal and bolt on harness bar.
The diagonal goes from the main loop behind the driver and is welded back to the back passenger side of the car.

Oh if you're only going to run with those craZies then you are ok as the rules currency stand. Pca is less restrictive, as a matter of fact I think you can just wrap your head with foam padding and I think you're ok...
Is yours a half cage with the brackets for the halo and door bars welded on or is it the roll bar sans attachments? If it's the latter you have to weld them on anyway...
But just keep in mind will limit you from running NASA, which out in this neck of the woods is a big limitation...and a final throwdown for extra side protection, it's a good thing...

Thanks Mark. I found the following pictogram in the NASA book. Hope it helps others. Confirms that i'm all set.
Fred, NASA Rules can be found here; http://www.nasaproracing.com/rules
Club Codes & Regulations - http://www.nasaproracing.com/rules/ccr.pdf
See pages 59-64.
From what I can tell by your photo, what you have should pass. However, from you photo it's hard to see the upper connection on the driver side.

I used to have one. They are so light. And comfortable.
I studied hard the regulations of PCA, SCCA Club and SCCA pro regarding cage constructions, as we (my friends) are building 2 new cars (SP2). If you have any questions, not not hesitate to ask.
