Spoke to MMC.
We're looking at July for an event. Probably 20-30 guys for the South Course (full course is $14K for a day...too much $$$ as we can't have too many people in the group). It will be a "private outing"...friends of mine celebrating my birthday.
You interested? Let me know ASAP. Cost will be between $250-350, depending on how many people. Can't have more than 30. No beginners or people who can't ride solo.
I'm going to hear back from them about dates and will post.

I've driven both the short course and the full course multiple time. I'll vote with my money. $500 for 30 of TRR ( Team Rennlist Racing) members is $15,000. Very much worth it for the full day and the long course. I'm guessing several other CVR members would be interested depending on the date. I spend the extra couple of hundred just getting to, and staying at, Watkins Glen. $500 is a convience factor fee for those of us within 2 hours of MMC.

I would probably prefer full course for the day also. One question though, I would assume we could run on the course all day, say like 9-4 or so with an hour for lunch, right?

Exotics rally has 10 spots available for this sunday the 22nd full course 1000.00, kinda expensive but thought i would share. Heres the email i got today.

If you have never visited this incredible facility you are certainly missing out! Last year season was in fact the LAST opportunity to drive on this track with any outside organizations or clubs. To clarify it even further there are some corporate events there with AMG, Cadillac, etc., but these are limited to 1/2 of the track and certainly not Full Track “Lapping Sessions” like it was meant to be driven.
Now, with me being a member there are certain privileges. One of them being the ability to invite guests! Since I am the owner of Exotics Rally you are all potential guests! I have gone one step further and worked out an incredible opportunity with MMC as follows:
DATE: Sunday, May 22, 2011 – Sorry for the short notice (This will only happen if I have 5-10 people who want to go)
TIME: 9am - 5pm
INCLUDES:
ˇ Full 3.5 mile; 18 Turn Long Course with 450 ft. of elevation change
ˇ Professional Instructors all Day
ˇ Breakfast & Gourmet Lunch
ˇ Use of the Member Clubhouse and Garages
COST: $1,000.00 per driver for the day which is payable to 'Monticello Motor Club'
CATCH: THERE IS NONE !!! Have an incredible day of learning, food, high performance driving and more!
BONUS: The Bronze Level Membership (currently $25,000.00) is increasing on June 1st to $30,000.00 and will be eliminated on or before August 1st, 2011. You will have the opportunity to apply for a membership and if you join the $1,000.00 you spend for the single day will be credited towards your membership fee…-PLUS- all Exotic Rally Guests who join within 1 week of their visit will have their 2011 Club Dues Waived a $3,150.00 Savings…..!
