FS: JRZ RS's From My 996 Spec.....
These are the 2-way shocks specified for the 996 Spec series. I ran them for 1 year and have since gone to Moton Club Sports. They're currently at a JRZ shop being checked out so they'll be in perfect shape. They come with the spec'd 700/900 Eibach springs and tenders, collars, and perches.
I won't have them back for another week and I'll post pics then. The same package new from JRZ is $4,200., I'll sell these for $ 2,900. PM me if you have any interest...

There are many people asking about building Spec 996's , here is a chance to get the Spec shock package at a great discount.
If I were running Spec 996 I would be tempted to by them as spares just to have.

I think it did ok for it's first track outing, I will be dialing it up a notch on both the 996 and the Boxster for the NASA Cresson event and then the TWS event and then we can see where they stand after that.

Absoluterly comparable, it was simply opportunity. I wanted the versatility of cannister pressure adjustments and the RS's don't come with cannisters. The JRS RS Pros would be comparable to Moton's Clubsports, but the 996 Spec'd RS's don't have cannisters. I went to JRZ and asked about adding the cannisters to my RS's, but was told it would be just as expensive as buying the RS Pros new. A friend had the Clubsports on his street only GT3 and decided they were too much shock and spring for him so he went back to his OEM setup. Consequently I bought the Motons....

I left spec last year as the other 4 so cal builds weren't running. I wanted to race for a championship so I chose to run in our (POC) GT3 class which is the same parameters as NASA's GTS4, and NASA's ST2 class with the corvettes and mazda GT's. I dropped 200 lbs, flashed the ECU, and viola, I had a pretty fast and nimble little 996. I had a blast last year and look forward to 2011. Oh and I won 41 Yokohama slicks in 2010 between NASA and POC...
