A BMW making their debut ? Oh please tell me it's DD or GS, that would just make things so much more fun. Now I am really motivated to turn up the wick !

No biggie on the idle issue, you don't ever need to idle, just keep your foot in it.
+1 on all

Yes, Just not installed on my GT3 yet.

Getting to know it first, and then I will install these so I can determine the difference.

Rock solid cars demand more feel of the behind for sure, loving it.

I can't believe he left the orange side markers on that creation. Clear would look so much better....Oh and a little more rear spring will keep that front wheel on the ground...

+1, install those things pronto, looks too soft as it sits. Plus it'll probably be easier to drive.

It has stock 04-05' GT3 shocks and springs (300/450?) on it now as he gets comfortable with the car. The JRZ's have 700/900 springs on them for when he's ready. The car's super light, less than 2500 empty so it doesn't really need a lot more spring...

Default Getting there

Might think bout getting these on after a couple more events here. I really wanted to know the difference when I do.

Thanks JR

BTW - YOu guys never made it up this way for either TH (rain) or Infinion. Any more events on schedule this year you might look at? Be fun to see you race against Nor Cal boys.

I'm looking forward to getting the opportunity to race against the 2 fast ST2 cars up North, the white Mazda with the L5 and Bill Brinkoff's Corvette. Brinkoff said he's coming to Cal Speedway at the end of July for a NASA race but I'd love to go at it with them at Sears or T-Hill which I've never driven. Mooty thinks I can do 53's on the cyclone course, that's the faster one right? NASA's there Aug 14 & 15, it'll be cool and breezy right? ....

At Thunderhill, using the bypass is 2 to 3 seconds faster than using the Cyclone.

Default TH Times

JR,
Newer cup cars well driven seem to be doing down to 1:50++ over the Cyclone. Maybe 2 sec slower than bypass?

I would think Mooty is pretty close thinking about 1:53's in your car?

How quick do you seem to get up to speed on a track you've never driven? Are you good after a few sessions.

I haven not timed myself up there yet in this car. Just got RLC back from Dan and will have it next time up. Still just doing open track & DE days to get some time on the track.

Default Wing & Uprights

Purchased this car built by Dan @ the Speed Gallery and only know uprights are 2010 Cup car pieces, w/ carbon wing and Alum. Gurney flap. Very nice light setup built on custom carbon deck lid to accommodate 2010 uprights on 04 GT3

You're welcome.

Are you coming up to the PRC event at Thunderhill on August 13 and 14? I would like to meet you and see your car. Heck, my race car might even be done by then.

Scott
