Rothsport, it really is that much better.
Then get a steering wheel with PTT buttons wired for the horn. Or even easier, just get a PTT (Push to talk) button (used for in car radios) and put it on dash , shift know, they even make them where you can velcro to the steering wheel. They come with coil cords so you can still remove wheel and move it around inside the car.
There is an easy fix.

The 996 Cup style MOMO wheel is the Mod 07. The ones that came in the 6 Cup had Porsche engraved on the right spoke. 350mm

The 997 Cup wheel is an OMP Super Turismo. 320mm diameter.

Three Wheelin'
I placed the Mod 07 in the car 1st and found it was dished out to far for me. Even with the column pushed all the way in it was TOOOO close to me when I got close enough too reach the clutch/brake & gas... It stinks being short. That was when I switched over to the Mod 78.
You used it last year Mark...

I just installed a Tekniq Snap-off that I bought used from a fellow Rennlister (thanks Michael). I'm very impressed with it's simplicity and lack of slop (as in, zero slop). Plus, its shallow depth was important to me (I was already seated really close to the wheel). AND it's relatively inexpensive (especially used!).
I highly recommend it!

I have the Rothsport in my car and it is really nice quality.
Something to consider if you need your horn is to simply rewire it to a different spot. I did this in my Boxster when it was still seeing street duty and detailed it here: https://rennlist.com/forums/boxster-...highlight=horn

Chris:
Yes I did! Hopefully I will bring my E car along this year. We shall see.
Dave:
Looks like you have your Rothsport QD mounted sideways. Reorient it so the piece attached to the hub looks like a frown.

The pictures on the Rothsport web site do show it in the frown position.

The ones I have put in I have gone with the frown position since that's how Jeff has on his site. I have also seen them smiling in a few cars I know.

I have my rothsport mounted with a "smile". It is a replica of the Porsche iMotorsports one, and seeing how it is mounted that way in the Grand-Am Cupcar I help with, I did the same.... . However i really I really can't see it making a difference....
