You should soften the dampening on your Motons, get a Guard 80/20, adjust your brake bias to the front by 10%, stiffen your front cockpit-adjustable sways one notch, and try it again..
I agree with this. A few years ago coming down the front straight at Road Atlanta on a lapping day I braked like I always have (944 turbo S), and the rear simply changed ends as fast as you can snap your fingers. They had just put the gravel traps in at that turn, and I found out just how fast they stop you (and how many thousand places the gravel finds itself).
Back in the paddock, I found one of the rear ABS sensors had melted a bit. I had a spare, and went on to complete the race without incident that weekend. Now, checking the sensors visually is on my checklist.
