Cory,

It was fun mixin' it up with you while my car was in one piece! Thanks for the use of the radiator, should be headed your way next week. After all we went through getting the car track ready, we somehow missed that the front right connecting bolt to the front sway bar was broken. Now I know why I wasn't up to speed during the enduro...

TJ- I was at MRS-C yesterday and heard about your Sebring repairs, after seeing the photos. What an effort to get you back on track. Very proud of the Texas effort. Great job all around. I lifted your smashed Texas flag decal for my avatar...

Jon,
Why don't you guys look for another hauler to come our way for the VIR PCA Club race? Not sure about Cory's schedule, but you'll get most of the East coast boxsters at that race. Maybe even Rainer can leave his car with us after Watkins Glen. On the flip side, pick a great track your way and maybe we can get a hauler full out there!

Scott,
Both The Glen, and VIR are on my radar. Still trying to figure out how to make it work.
It would also be great to have a group of East Coast guys come out to one of our events.
I will keep working on both and see what we can get done.

+1 on that. Adrienne says she's going to belly dance, so TWS is an event not to be missed.

Michael, you were right. I crossed the finish line under checker - ahead of the race leader by less than a second (but really behind). I neglected to go past start/finish again and therefore received the DNF. Won't make THAT mistake again.

Later posts talk of future races on which SPBs should converge. Let me suggest Road America over Labor Day. It's a great track and event. Ray Powers and I were the only SPBs last year.

Hey Dave - I recall seeing that avatar of yours through my lens!

Cory-

As the 'most official' unofficial SPB shutter-bug, welcome to the mix!

Here's a few from my collection... As always, there are . . . more!

Hope to see you at one or two of the Texas Club Races!

~Kim

PS: Congrats to John G!

Correct!
What's with the roof on your car, or is it my eye?

Thought it might have been. I had a good start that race and was able to get past John. Only time all weekend I was in front of him. I need a picture of the front of his 150 car, spent the whole weekend looking at the rear bumper.

Craig, I believe many are running Pagids yellows, a couple guys orange or black. I had Hawk DTC 60/70 and took them off and put Pagid blacks back on, which produced a shorter and more linear pedal in my car.

I really liked PFC 01, which were out until recently, and now we have to option of PFC 06.

Rainer, don't worry you DID get 2nd place in the enduro. Apparently finishing that next lap is optional.

As for getting all the SPBs together, I do plan on doing Road America this year. I had been out there 4 years in a row with my Cup. It is a great track, a great event, and my family loves the area.

I'd love to get down to the TX area to do a race, I just don't know how to make that happen.

How you make it happen is as follows:

-Hitch trailer to Excusrion
-Pack Excusrion
-Load SPB on trailer
-Drive SSW for 2 days
-Presto! TWS!
