How hasn't this sold already? Just engine and transmission is worth 25-30K.
Unfortunately for me we don't get much competition in ST1/GTS5 - everybody seems to stay ST2/GTS4.

Interesting question that got me to look up the new GT3 motor multiplier. Based in the 2011 GCR's, the GT3 motor multliplier is 165 which x 3.6 = 594.
So, it's definitely a GT2 car. The minimum "Performance Index" for GT2 is 426 x 504= 2530. So a 200lb driver would need to add about 50 lbs.(meaningless to this car) in addition to fuel. That places the car right on the top edge of the class, exactly where you'd want your GT car to be. It would be hard to beat in GT2....

I know the car was originally built for GT2 (I have the PCA logbook), but I think rules were changed to disallow GT3 engines. I believe that rule has been changed again.
This car is VERY fast and fun to drive. It is a very different experience from a 996, but a whole lot of fun. The maintenance costs are significantly less. $150 rotors that last a couple of seasons, $120 brake pads, etc.
