Does anyone have any experience buying helmets from GPHelmets.com? I was considering ordering a helmet from them, but wanted to check with you guys first!

i got my GP6-PED, visor, and clear vents from them 3 months ago. Excellent service, very knowledgeable on everything Arai, and good prices.

Call First before ordering online, confirm helmet/accessories are in stock and can ship...Arai has had some supply issues and the smaller dealers who don't distribute much are usually drop shipping and if there is nothing to drop ship you can get strung along for a while sometimes.

Also, i'm pretty sure GpHelmets is part of PolePosition (same address?). If so, i would probably not bother... http://www.polepositionusa.com/Default.asp

I got this message for polepositionusa.com

"Dear customers and friends, the time has come to close our online business.

For any open orders or pending issues, please email us at sales@polepositionusa.com.

Thank you!"

Maybe they changed names.

I ordered a dark visor for my Gp-5k online, they did not have it in stock, so they upgraded it to the anti-fog version at no extra charge. I think that's pretty cool.

When was that order? Make sure they are still in business before ordering. I had some issues with them when doing a big wholesale order...took many months to get the order fulfilled after going back and forth, also included many supply issues from arai.

Default BEWARE GPHELMUTS.COM IS FORMERLY POLEPOSITIONUSA

Absolutely the same guy, Victor Barreira, Scottsdale, AZ. .... had to shut down polepositionusa.com because he kept getting called out online. He's a con artist.

DIDDLE ALERT: Victor Barreira was sued across the pond by BMW for cybersquatting. But aye, support his "business" despite numerous warnings via internet from victims (myself included) about his swindling.

Give over Steve, Good Luck to ya'.

Fred,

The initial post was an inquiry about Victor's business. Give her the opportunity to get honest answers to protect herself. You should by all means continue to buy from him.

No wonder Victor Barreira chose European auto parts for his scams. The consumers are so forgiving of theft and fraud.

Moderators: it's hard to know what's going on here, but this NEW user CarolinaR keeps posting editorial comments to disparage a vendor (not affiliated to Rennlist) without any evidence or facts. Rennlist ain't a place for grudges to playout. Many here have had good positive experiences with GP Helmets.
