Thanks, as I know quite a few guys run them on their Carerra's I was hoping they would chime in.. sounds like they did have some issues and may have changed them over the years.

i heard from a credible source that they are reliable for the most part but have to be treated with car. They're not meant for curb hopping at all.

i knew you were going to come out with something like this. But seriously what i was told is that the Keizer wheels that you have in mind were adapted from an oval dirt track (smooth, load released through sliding...) purpose wheel. FWIW, which may not be much.

Yeah Gary, I think you would have better luck calling them "Buckley Wheels"... In fact, you can't even buy the wheels straight from Keizer. Buckley is the sole distributer of those particular 15" wheels.

Yes, in trying to get the tire seated over the lip of the rim we had bent a few. This was a shop that had bent them, but after switching to Jongbloeds we had no further issues. The Keizer wheels halves, at least at the 13" size, were much thinner than the Jongbloeds.

I ended up with Jongbloeds but Jim Buckley (Keizer rep) is a great guy and even after I went with a competitor he had nothing but good stuff to say. Says a LOT for him and to me it's just a matter of personal preference on style at this point and would highly recommend Jim's wheels for anyone in the same position!
