Default Need advise racing limited slip 993?

Need to upgrade for racing, can I get any suggestions on which limited slip to consider? Also any sources for used or new you would care to suggest?
Thanks

If you can find a motorsport 4 disk diff (early cup car) they are amazing. The late model 8 disk is overkill unless you are making 400+ hp and so I would probably look to Guard.

Guard posts here (Paul?) quite a lot lately, I would start there for input.

Paul's retired. Last time I spoke to him he was on his way to Fiji to surf for a couple of weeks. Lucky bastard. He's my very silent partner. I only hear from him once every couple of months. It's me who posts.

usacarrera,
If you have any specific technical questions about our product I am happy to answer them, but I am not a sponsor here and do not sell our product through the site, so please don't ask about pricing. For that, Marvin Gilbert Motorsports is a site sponsor, is located in Florida, and is a Guard dealer.

I have a diff from Guard in my 911. Great product. I am also extremely satisfied with gears I have from GT. I have spoken to Paul on the phone several times in the past for technical help and he was outstanding. I have met and corresponded with Matt, and found him to be a great technical resource as well. So I wouldn't hesitate to ping him. I also suggest connecting with locals with professional racing experience with your type of car, if you have access. As you likely know, often times shops with pro experience also have amateur racing and DE customers as well and so they can have broad, informed perspectives.

+1 on Matt. I bought a rebuilt 993 LSD from him and it is fantastic - completely transformed the way the car handles.
