I use my lawn tractor for many uses and dont see why it couldnt do this.............husqvarna 27hp.
If that doesnt do it then I'd use my farm tractor..........

Have you used a lawn tractor, ATV or UTV to move a big, enclosed trailer? With a car in it? Towing tongue weight is around 1,000 lbs, and that is higher than the payload on all the but the largest UTVs.

I use a small farm tractor to move mine around...much handier than hooking up a truck each time...I imagine anything bigger than Cub Cadet Lowboy should do the trick....

Thanks, Brant. How heavy is your trailer and what sort of tongue weight do you have on it? Do you put the full tongue weight on the tractor or do you have a wheel on the jack to carry much or all of the tongue weight?
The trailer we need to move is a 28' enclosed with about 1,100 lbs tongue weight.

22 footer with about 1000 ? TW...I use an IH 354 utility tractor...we also move horse trailers that are quite a bit larger with it, no problem. It will handle the full weight.

I bought the ParkIt360 battery powered mover and it works great. I can maneuver my 22 ft trailer loaded (about 5700 pounds) with no problem. It is slow going but works great.

Farm tractor is 60hp w/a 3 point hitch, full trailer and front end loader and its 4x4....itll move a fully loaded baler with a load of hay so a trailer w/car is not so much.
Good luck

OK, dumb question, but I'll ask anyway:
How about an electric one (I, too, don't want to care for another engine) that can "push" an open Trailex (at around 800lbs) up an inclined driveway ...moderately steep but only about 25' up? ...oh, and on cement (concrete sidewalk and driveway)?
