Slicks: Yokos, Hoosier, Michelin or . . . ?

For Yokes they range from soft (00) to hard (04). On my 996 and my 6-cup I've tried all but the hard 04 compound. I like the 01 front, 02 rear the best on most tracks and they last for 10+ HC's. I have also had success with the 00 front, 01 rear on really, really smooth tracks but they don't last as long. YMMV....

Revisited-
How are Yokos, Michelins and Hoosier slicks in the context of wear?
Next event is Winterfest for 6 hr night race and 90 min enduro (passing on the sprints)- is there much difference in the life of these tires?
How many sets for 7.5 hrs total? Note I'm generally pretty easy on tires.
I could almost run a set of each and compare if that's not too stupid.

I'd suggest the 250 fronts from Yokohama over the 240's as they're a little wider. Do you run 680 series rears and is the track banked? If not I'd consider the 650 series in the rear....

I'll try the new Hoosiers as recommended. The Yoko's are barely used so I'll hc the Hoosiers then try and compare the two. But the Hoosiers will be wider so have the advantage.
Sebring? Flat as a pancake (but definitely as not smooth as one).

Being a race tire only company has to present itself with different issues than being a street tire company that also sells some race tires too.
People always need street tires regardless of the economy, but in a down economy I would guess the race tire company suffers a little more.
