No rain yet :-)

The car was fixed yesterday and running great

The only few laps in the dark today:

Only got 10 laps in the dark, not enough to be sure where the apexes and track out were exactly.
Track out T1 was invisable, T12/13 black, Bisschop bend the apexes were hard to find, T16 could not see track out and I could not find the apex at T17..

A car spilled cooland and made it pretty slippery. Also it was pretty warm, about 75F so not ideal.
Still fun to run in the dark :-)

Anybody going to watch 48 Hours at Sebring this weekend?

Take an extra $10 to get in the gate.

According to Sebring's Facebook page they are charging a $10 admission fee to watch some club racing and solo drivers education.

Another BS Sebring money grab

While $10 is not a lot of money it chaps my a$$ that PCA rents the track from Sebring for the weekend and then Sebring charges admission for spectators to watch some club racing.

EDIT to add: Sebring replied to my bitch about the $10 admission charge:
If you a dues-paying member of PCA, then you go to registration and get a wristband, and don't pay $10.

I wonder if this effects PCA's insurance for the event as it's a spectator event now....

Love the shorts and no gloves. Just out for a few casual laps around Sebring.

I didn't get any run time in today at Sebring. First session was scrubbed due to fog, second session didn't have all the air out of the line from new power steering pump install. Third session put too much fluid in and it sprayed out over the engine causing me to be meatball black flagged. Hopefully Carlos my mechanic will get it squared away and I"ll run the next two days.

Anyhow, I was watching some of the qualifying sessions in the cup car class, and was noting that there was this really old 911 out there that looked like it was falling apart but was fast as hell, keeping up with the 997 cups. I thought it was kind of cool. I was walking through the paddock 15 minutes or so later and just happened to catch David Murray climbing out of that car. Dang, can't he find a better ride? :-)) Anyhow, I'm sure that car has never been driven faster! LOL

I think that would be Chris Musante's car, awesome car and Chris is an awesome driver. I would bet he will be close or at David's time in the same car, believe it or not.
