PCA Summit Point In Car Video, Group 1, Sprint 2... Air Cooled vs. Water Cooled
This is a good race if you have some time to watch. My GT3R '73 911starts mixing it up with a GTC4 Cup Car and GTA Cup Car towards the middle / end. A good amount of changing events happens towards the end of the race. Older school Porsche technology and air cooled power still can hold its own... (See link below)

Bill, I forgot to hit start on my camera on the first race, but it was somewhat boring as I stayed in front the whole race with no lead changes. I didn't race on Sunday because I watched our Baltimore Football Ravens beat up on the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Skip, it was good to see you again as always.
Sam, we missed you this year. Make sure you make it for next year's race.

Derek:
Who drives the #33 that spun coming out of T9?
99% of cars that crash out of T9 do it exactly like that. Have seen that happen literally right in front of me 5+ times.
Nice driving BTW. Peter makes a nice motor. :-)

His name is Phillip Martien. I don't know him personally, but he has been running the Summit Point Club race for a couple years now.
Yep, turn number 9 is a car eater. If you miss you mark at the limit, it will bite you. One of my buddies in a BMW at a NASA race earlier in the year rolled there.
Peter Dawe had my old 3.4 running great, but this new 3.8 is pretty nuts. I never thought I would see these kind of numbers coming from a normally aspirated air colled motor.

Burning Brakes
See entry #28. That is the car he was driving.

Spoke to him during the weekend. He said his car had "everything" done to it.

I was there as a spectator and that was one of the best battles of the weekend to watch. I did wonder what happened to the other two toward the end of the race. Now I know. Thanks for posting this and great driving.

great driving, and I loved the late braking pass on the cup car
