Glasses inside helmet?

Thanks for all the replies. I've done some more trial fitting w/my helmet and I think the main issue is that the top seam of my particular helmet's removable cheek pieces (where it meets the upper padding) is just above where my glasses want to sit. So even if I force my glasses to sit where they should, they eventually work themselves into that seam and sit up at eyebrow level. Seems like my helmet is the culprit.
Glad to know others are able to make it work - when it's time to upgrade my helmet, I will pay more attention to fitting w/glasses.
Thanks,
Tom

I've worn sunglasses in my helmet for years. I usa a pair of Oakleys that don't bend over he ear, they stay straight (like aviator glasses). This way they just slide right in and out easily.

Saved my bacon with coming into T12 at Road America at least once... "funny, is that liquid up there?" You guessed it, oil. Not what you want in 5th gear arcing into a downhill brake zone.
At least 2 cars behind me flew off into the gravel.

I wear prescription glasses inside my helmet, no cutting of foam.

Couldn't see down the track w/o 'em, so, yes, I wear them all the time. Just put them on after you put on the helmet, but before you push it down on your head and tighten the strap.

I wear presciption polarized oakley plastic frame shades under
my full face helmet. The key was finding frames that fit as
closely to my face/head as possible, and trying frames on with
my helmet when buying them. I have poor distance vision, so they
are always on.

Hi -
I was wondering if anyone here wears glasses inside their helmet and if yes, how do they get them to fit comfortably? Is it simply a function of cutting some of the foam liner away? Is it OK to do that?
I have some cheapie metal framed (nonprescription) sunglasses I've been using. With them, I'm not afraid to just bend them to fit - plus they have really thin ear pieces and frame.
I recently got glasses w/a prescription. While not mandatory for me (yet), it sure would be nice to be able to see as well as I can!
I'd love some tips.
Thanks,
Tom

I do try to pick glasses that I think may work better. I never cut and foam.

i bought these addidas skiing, running, sport glasses, they flex, huge lens for the eyes to see, and they have adjustments you can make on them, wear them everytime i race my kart and bouncing around in a kart is worse than a car and they dont move.
