Default 944 Cup series race

Update:
I just learned that the Carolinas Challenge will host the 944 Cup Series and be the only visit to CMP this year. The plan is the normal split start for the 944 Cup cars.

As soon as it gets approved by the steward, I'll get it posted.
Great you're coming down!

Colony Inn in Camden is the Host hotel. Details on the race website under lodging. Camping could be fun too and yes is available at the track.

did you contact the track directly or just off the website?
Website is generic - says to ask event organizer if camping will be available. So....yes, it's available.
You will pay the track directly for camping. The event has to pay to allow camping, then the individual campers pay to actually camp (yes, its a racket). I don't know the rate, you'll have to call the track directly depending on if you need electric or not.

Thanks for the info. I should not have assumed that camping was free as it is at the Clash.
I will give them a call to get the details.

Tentative Schedule is up on the race website.
Schedule is based on what we ran in 2008 and is subject to change but should be pretty close.

Yes, you read correctly: 3 sprint races per group PLUS an Enduro. This is a race weekend, not a practice/warm-up/qualifying weekend. Us Carolinians like to give you lots of racing for your money.

Call it our own little economic stimulus plan... more bang for your buck!

You will also note, it's Halloween and Nadine is planning to have fun with that...

That seals the deal! My wife has been on the fence for this event or 3 days with NNJR @ VIR the following weekend.

We will make sure we make the trip. Any other advice for local flavor? We would travel down from Upstate NY on Wednesday, make a mini vacation of it and let our 6 year impress you all with his Indiana Jones outfit (w/whip)... Halloween at the track will have better weather then CNY.
