***DOOR PRIZES****DOOR PRIZES***DOOR PRIZES****

The Race Chair is of the opinion, and I happen to agree, that it gets really boring sitting around waiting for 150 hats, coozies, and t-shirts being handed out as 'door prizes' during the dinner/social/awards ceremony.

So...we have less quanity, but much better QUALITY!

A sample:

- 2 Single Event Credentials to Daytona 24 hours, includes hot pit passes
- Set of Continental Tires
- At least one, maybe two, 1/2 off a set of Hoosier tires
- working on a set of Michelin Tires
- working on a couple cases of Brad Penn oil
- Some great things from Apex Performance!!

and others TBA at the race! Again, quality, not quantity. But worth it!

Hi all,
3 weeks until the race. If you are planning to sign up, please do soon so we can get an accurate count for t-shirts, trophies, social, etc.

And come on, with Daytona not running this year, where is everyone? I'm trying to work with Michelin to be in attendence and provide some tires, but they would like to see more cup cars on the roster.

I just registered. So far, a disappointing turnout among the cup car classes.

Yes, schedule is up. Tentative, but should be pretty accurate.

3 sprints and an enduro per group!! 1 Friday, 2 Saturday, Enduros Sunday.

As mentioned before, this is a RACE weekend, we RACE, it's not a Practice/Test and Tune weekend.

And yes, Chris, dissapointing from the cup guys....need to shake the trees a bit...

Just signed up. Should be a fun weekend. Not a huge fan of 3 sprint races. Have to either decide on which races to run old tires or have to buy more new sets. A cumulative points thing would be cool, get points for each sprint race and have a final race series winner.

Cory, you could just run all of them on old tires and give the other guys a fighting chance...

Yes, cumulative points for the sprints for class trophies... and oh yeah, trophies are sponsored by Autometrics!

Default Performance Friction @ Carolinas Region Club Race

A technical representative from Performance Friction will be attending the Carolinas Region Club Race on behalf of Apex Performance. This will be a great opportunity to discuss what products work best for your application.

Apex Performance will also have inventory on hand for most Porsche models. If you would like brakes delivered to the track or reserve something for the event, please let us know.

With 13 944 SP cars signed up to date, looks like another great event out of the Carolinas Region. Thanks Bob.

Since the race weekend is also Halloween Weekend, Carolinas Region is encouraging the racers to set up their paddocks in the Halloween spirit, and provide a trick-or-treating atmosphere for the kids. So bring your kids out to go trick-or-treating from paddock to paddock. Let’s make it fun for the kids too! Apex Performance will have treats for the goblins at the track. Should be a fun family event for all.

we could use more cup/GT2-3-4 drivers so us slow GT5 cars don't end up in with the big boys!

Come on guys & gals, only 2 weeks to go and we could use a bunch more racers...the more the better!!

with no Daytona...what are you waiting for this year?
