I have been looking for one of these for a while, but most of these tools are made in China. Is there anything that left that in Made in North America or Europe?

Do any of you trust the torque settings on these power wrenches or do you use a torque wrench for final tightening?

always use a torque wrench - it is the ultimate embarrasment to have a wheel come off

car should be on gear and not on park brakes at horizontal surface - when you tighten lugs up - that moment when car starts to slightly roll as you keep tightening the lug with standard 2ft lug wrench is about of 100-110lb/ft. it`s a bit more than needed but if you do not have torque wrench handy this method works ok.

^this makes little sense^

There are way too many vairables to be able to use car movement as a unit of measure. On the other hand many people can get a good feel for the right torque after a good number of lug nut tightings. torque sticks can, when used right, get you into the ball park. I don't recomend setting torque by hand.

question content. I have an original Snap-On 14.4 inpact gun and it is still working great. Snap on batterys are stupid expensive but inside the battery case are standaed cells. I purchased 2 Riobi batterys for under $50 and used the cells to rebuild the $140 off the truck Snap On battery. $50 for enough cells to rebuild it twice.

I have the Milwaukee 2663-22 that I bought from Northern Tools. It works great. It is 18V and apparently has more torque than the 28V. Not sure how they figure that out, some suspect is marketing too.
